which really is the only place to go when you are looking for happiness . . .  Oh, what fun we had!
I kind of got "hit on" by this guy . . . 
I mean, of course he hit on me . . . who could resist this?
Luckily, I knew my true love PG would save me . . . that is, as soon as he finished his pretzel dog . . .
Yes, that's my man. You can't have him. No way. No how. ;)

I think the best part of this past week was getting away from daily life and escaping to a place where there were no computers, no phones, no people to make happy . . . just our little family and lots and lots of hugs. 
 This is exactly what I needed to help me find my serenity. Hugs from my girls.

I'll be back soon with some stories about our adventures . . . just wanted to leave a little post this evening to let you know I was back from our little get-away and feeling rested, relaxed, and relieved to have gotten away from the past few weeks of hectic life. I'm hoping to keep this zen feeling a little longer.

I can't wait to catch up on all of your lives. It might take me a day or two to get there, but I promise I'll be by your blogs very soon. Until then, leave me a comment and tell me -  how are you?

    Ah I have Happy bumps! We love Disney Land so I can imagine Disney World is Disney Land on steroids! HA

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.) If you DON'T have peanut allergy . . . run to the store RIGHT NOW and pick up these three things . . .
