Happy October 1 !!!

I MADE IT! After a pretty exhausting work week, I am proud to have just completed my last client visit and am officially DONE! Wahooooie! I'm pretty tired right now, but have about one hour before Katie is home and thought I would just put a little note out here to wish you all a HAPPY FALL!!!! My favorite time of year is NOW upon us, and now that this work week is done for me, I can relax a little. I am feeling . . . wonderful!

I hope you take some time during the remainder of this week for yourself. Take some deep, relaxing breaths to release some stress right now . . . it feels oh so good. Tonight I am going to return to work on my "30 random photos scrapbook", and will share some pages with you this weekend. It's a cold, rainy, gloomy day out - but I feel like there is a bit of cleansing going on in the universe right now. Have I ever told you about the "Gong"? Oh, it's too much to get into right now. I'll save it for another day. Until then . . . enjoy the rain, focus on your breathing, and may you have a wonderful evening . . . filled with Peace, dear friend.

PPS: Oh My Goodness!!! Happy 51st blog post! Thanks for celebrating with me and for reading my blog! I can't believe I have now written 51 blog posts! Holy Cow! What ever will I write about tomorrow?

PPPS: I just looked up "p.s." and "p.p.s" and "p.p.p.s". Here's a bit of info for you, although you probably already know it, taken from Wikipedia (I love that website): "A postscript, abbreviated P.S., is writing added after the main body of a letter (or other body of writing). The term comes from the Latin post scriptum, an expression meaning "written after" (which may be interpreted in the sense of "that which comes after the writing.") Sometimes, when additional points are made after the first postscript, abbreviations such as PPS (post-postscript) and PPPS (post-post-postscript) are used, though only PPS has somewhat common usage." Pretty interesting, huh?

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? PK : Smash . . . things. You know. Like, stuff. Me : What? PK : See . . . I will put stuff in here. Junk. Things I don't want to lose, but don't know what to do with. Me : Huh? PK : Smash. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.)
