Best Line of the Week #1

Happy Weekend, Friends! I hope you are enjoying your weekend and this post finds you HAPPY! I've got something new a brewin' here in the land of "From Chaos Comes Happiness" that I am so very excited to share with you . . . called, simply, the "Best Line of the Week Award!" Like so many of you, I am enlightened and blessed to be the receiver of some of the best comments in the world! I swear, you folks really out-do yourself post after post. This week, while a particular comment really tickled my funny bone, I decided that I needed to share this line with EVERYONE! So, I decided to implement a new weekly feature in which I share with you one comment line from the week that absolutely MADE MY DAY!!! Sounds like fun, don't you think?
This week's "Best Line of the Week" is being awarded to Yenta Mary over at Food Floozie, who wrote the following line in her comment on my post about "Embracing ALL of Me":

"Tis better to die with orange powder on one's fingertips and caramel stuck to one's teeth than to have eaten tofu, after all."

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.)
