Oh, the Places She'll Go!
PG took this photo while going on a bike ride with Ella this weekend.
When I saw the photo, I cried.
I can't believe I am a Mom.
I can't believe she is mine.
I can't believe how big she is.
I can't believe that I am blessed with two daughters.
I can't believe that they love me, unconditionally.
I can't believe that some day she will be big enough to leave home,
and follow her dreams.
May she always be happy.
May she always laugh.
May she always explore.
And may she know that I will always be right behind her,
in case she needs me.
And may you always enjoy every moment, good or bad, with them. Those moments move past you so quickly. Enjoy the laughter and the tears. And they will remember that you did!
ReplyDeleteOh, so sweet Leanne! There's nothing like watching them ride away. Don't make Betty cry this early in the morning! Lovely thoughts. May she always explore, indeed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post. I never realized that being a mom would have so much power over me. Quite a ride, huh? Miss you and your family!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet this post is!
ReplyDeleteAhh, love the picture and post. Being a mother is so amazing but our little ones grow so quickly.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy each moment!
Sweet, sweet beautiful moment. Just when you think you can't love them any greater you find that you always do....Even when they're taller than you, start shaving and about to start high school! That picture needs to be framed!
ReplyDeleteSO stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo! I would cry too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet photo! You have a lovely little lady on your hands! And someone is a stellar photographer!
ReplyDeleteLove this picture. Definitely a keeper. And, what sweet words.
ReplyDeleteYou are just the BEST Mom, Leanne!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love this one!!!! I can't believe our Ella Bella!! Sweet sweet sweet.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. I love that photo!
ReplyDeleteMy baby just graduated from preschool, so I've been sad to see this stage leave. Your line "some day she will be big enough to leave home" resonated with me. While I want my kids to be happy, I dread the day that they will leave.
Wonderful post!
OH LEANNE!!!! I LOVE this photo!!!
