CREATE!

Yes, I said 'create'!

Not sure where to begin? Well, follow me over to my friend Leslie's blog to find out where.You see,  Leslie will take care of it for all of us. Beginning March 1st, Leslie is hosting a "31 Days: Write, Create, Be" Party.  Leslie will prompt us with some wonderful tips, ideas, and goodies to create something . . . anything. . . 6 days each week. Seriously, 6 days a week, all month long. (She's pretty wonderful, isn't she?)



I participated in Leslie's challenge last summer, when she held her last "31 Days" festival, and it was such a great way for me to sneak in a little creative fun each and every day. Her prompts were motivating, inspiring, and so helpful to my chaotic brain, that I was so grateful to participate.

And this time around, I'm look so forward to this next creative journey. Because right now, I am REALLY in a creative mood! So, not to put any pressure on Leslie . . . but I am looking forward to some FANTASTIC creative days!!!

    Wow, Leanne...looks like quite a challenge - not one I could cope with (being the most uncreative person on the planet) but I am very much looking forward to reading your 31 Days :-)

    I'm ready for this too as I've been totally uncreative for the past few months. I really enjoyed the challenge last summer...maybe this will get me back to blogging (we'll see).

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.) If you DON'T have peanut allergy . . . run to the store RIGHT NOW and pick up these three things . . .
