SERIOUSLY!!!  Poor Santa, he's going to be a big ol'ice cube flying through our skies!

I'm a thinking it's time to relocate!!!

    We have a fostbite advisory! It's -8 here. But at least the polar bears are happy in canada ;)

    That's cold! It's a balmy 2C here (35F) but we're heading to much colder weather in the next couple of days and snow too.... brrrrrilliant!

    Rainy! I'm so bummed we had a perfect lovely snow storm the other day and now the rain is washing it all away!

    Well at least the guy will be able to install my Christmas lights on the house now. I was worried with all the snow.

    Your better go put on some woolly socks...Christmas style!!

    Bbbrrr! I think it was a brisk 6 degrees last night. Whatever it was, it was cold. Brrr!!! At least it's finally time for cozy sweaters, scarfs and gloves! :)

    They Fahrenheit temps which I now have trouble with in comparison to Centigrade. We were about 3C here today.

    No way; I'd never, EVER survive in that kind of weather! Yesterday here in So Cal it was 80, today it will only be 70. And now I'm happy for that after seeing your weather!

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy.
