Day Dreamy Secret . . .

While hard at work today, and listening to some lovely holiday music, I started thinking about my dream Holiday concert. If I could have my favorite musicians come together to sing to me, who would it be? Oh, there are so many to choose from. Hmmm . . . let me see . .

I love this man . . .
I mean, I love him. That's it.
Oh, and this man, too . . .
I mean, what's not to love about him?
Oooo . . .how could I forget? I really really love this man, too . . .
I mean, he's just dreamy!!!
Oh, then this one really can't do any wrong when it comes to Christmas Carols . . .
 I mean . . .he is the originally swooner, isn't he?

Yes, I love these men.

    geez mine are not great looking men...I have been listening to Susan Boyle and Jewel's Christmas cd is my fav and Charlotte Church too and I usually start listening to them in July but as for seeing them in concert no....:O) have a great week:O)

    I remember when Harry was all the rage!! I worked at KNIM then and we played it all the time. Still love him:)

    My dream concert....HMMM...well I love the classics like Bing, Dean Martin and Andy Williams. I love Aaron Neville...what a voice!

    My favorite Christmas music is all the old stuff...Rosemary Clooney, Bing, Dean, Frank Sinatra, The Andrew Sisters...that stuff is amazing!

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? PK : Smash . . . things. You know. Like, stuff. Me : What? PK : See . . . I will put stuff in here. Junk. Things I don't want to lose, but don't know what to do with. Me : Huh? PK : Smash. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.)
