It's a New Day!

Sunday. The day of worship. The day of rest.

For me, Sunday is the day of new beginnings. A re-focus, so to speak.

A time to re-evalute the week that was, and to set goals for the week that will be.

I'm in a good place today.

Must be that Puerto Rico SUN that is still warming my heart.

I'm making a list today . . . a list of all the things I want to accomplish next week. I have been away from my lists for way too long. I think that is why I have stalled in this life of mine. Lists help me . . . they help me see what I have ahead of me. They help me feel so very good when I can cross things off of them as completed.

So much to do . . . and I'm ready.

I'll have a new VLOG tomorrow (Wahoooo!) sharing lots of things with you. But until then, here are a few more photos from our recent vacation. Oh, it was a good one, my friends. SO so good.

One of the highlights of the trip . . . I was able to meet fellow Hello Soul Hello Business classmate and artist Elizabeth Gonzalez! We spent the whole day in Old San Juan with her . . . and it was amazing. I'll share more of my experience of meeting an online friend with you during a post this week. I LOVE ELIZABETH!!!!

    I love seeing these photos....what fun you all had!! That place is gorgeous. Was it an all-inclusive resort?? Your girls are darlings:)

    Confession: I am a list taker. I have "organizer" aps but they're not the same as writing them down. I get made fun of for my purse calender :)

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy.
