Magnificent Monday Vlog #12

Are you ready? Have a hot cup o'joe? Comfy slippers on? How about a scone? hmmmm . . . sounds so good, doesn't it.

It's time for our weekly chat. Thanks for being here, my friend. I had lots of fun sharing my vision board in today's Vlog with you. But I will admit . . . I think I am getting a little weepy at the end of the video . . . all the inspiration talk about dreams and living your dreams and believing in those dreams, and I felt a little emotional for a minute there . . . .

    You are so cute! It is great to see your vlog each Monday! You are very inspirational! I love that quote! I have a lot of thought and need to put it into action at times. I think this is something we all can work on. I hope you have a great week!

    That first art work you did is great! I love the colors in the flower and the quote is super! Love the butterfly one. You are very talented my frriend! Look how inspirational you are to everyone. Your daughters are ispired each day by you. I love what Katie made. It shows how much you inspire your children!

    Sounds like you already have your vision down. Loved your new art (and your daughter's) and I think someday opening a studio/shop for other artists would be wonderful! Have a great week!

    Sooo much good stuff here, friend. My teen's art teacher is doing this very thing in our community...It's called the Art Experience. Would you like me to send you a flyer so you can get an idea of what she does? I plan on taking photos and doing a post on my blog about it. Her place is so cool...but I can't lie...I am a bit jealous that she's doing this...I wish I would have thought of it!!:)

    Dearest sweet Leanne, you are so beautiful and inspirational! I really truly enjoy your video so much and i love that quote you shared with us! I also adore your vision board lots and your thoughts on your biz! I could really relate bcoz i have almost the same vision as you do! How wonderful! I guess great ones think alike. hehe Oh yes and we all need to dream and dream big! Love to you!

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? PK : Smash . . . things. You know. Like, stuff. Me : What? PK : See . . . I will put stuff in here. Junk. Things I don't want to lose, but don't know what to do with. Me : Huh? PK : Smash. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.)
