Magnificent Monday Vlog #13!

It's that time again!
Time to grab the coffee, comfy chair,
and inspiring thoughts . . .

It's also time for me to get a calendar and
WRITE DOWN WHAT I AM WEARING when I make these videos,
because I am repeating the same shirt I wore last week . . . AGAIN!
I swear to you . . . I have a great deal of shirts in my closet to choose from.
I must just like this zebra print one.

The funny thing is . . . it's not really flattering.
;)

Time to give it to pass it on to Good Will!

    Love the book marks soo much. Your frames are adorable.

    I think you need to come down to my mom's arts n crafts festival and have a booth. Thousands of people atend - Seriously! Mulberry Street Arts Festival sponsored by the Middle Georgia Art Association. Look it up - Mom is the president.. let me know if you want to give it a try- not to mention, we could totally hang out! ;-) PS - It's in March 24th- 25th. Go to www.middlegeorgiaart.org

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? PK : Smash . . . things. You know. Like, stuff. Me : What? PK : See . . . I will put stuff in here. Junk. Things I don't want to lose, but don't know what to do with. Me : Huh? PK : Smash. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.) If you DON'T have peanut allergy . . . run to the store RIGHT NOW and pick up these three things . . .
