Magnificent Monday Vlog!

I think I created a major fashion faux pas . . .
I am wearing the same shirt that I wore in our LAST vlog, back on December 12, 2011.

FOR SHAME!!!

Note to self: do not wear repeat clothing on blog.
It makes it look like your clothing budget is really really small for your vlogs.

    Leanne what a fun little chat you did on your vlog, it's great to see you in person and to hear you!!

    I've read all three books of the Hunger Games and looking very forward to the movie. I just saw the preview and it's great seeing who they cast for each character.

    I too have one shirt that I always seem to be wearing when the cameras come out.
    I keep hearing the buzz around The Hunger Games too, you'll have to share a recap!
    Have you read Patti Digh? Great, pick-me-up ispirational books.

    My friend, as I said before, the word choice-courage-is a wpnderful one for this year! I think that we all get into moments that we lose inspiration and need to pull out our courage to pick ourselves up. Good for you for wanting to watch your finances. Great book choices. I am finally reading again. I just read Dear Carey by Dyan Cannon. I love everything from that era and it was a well written book about their relationship. I love Carey Grant and I think she wrote the book with respect for him. I like the "devote yourself to an idea" quote. I am going to write that one down and focus on the things that I really want to accomplish. I hope you are doing well. I hope you feel inspired and strength to move forward and continue sharing your wonderful creative talent with the world. Have a great day!

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? PK : Smash . . . things. You know. Like, stuff. Me : What? PK : See . . . I will put stuff in here. Junk. Things I don't want to lose, but don't know what to do with. Me : Huh? PK : Smash. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.)
