My Swan

 Two weeks ago, I enrolled Ella in a Twinkling Ballerina class.

Then last week, PG and I went and saw "Black Swan",
and I wasn't so sure I wanted Ella to take ballet afterall. 

But this week, my littlest Ballerina emerged.
And she is . . . beautiful.

    I was never very good at it, but I loved ballet class! It's a fantasy world, full of beauty and grace. And your little girl is so sweet all dressed up for class ... :)

    Ahhh - so beautiful - as you know - most things with coordination I am lacking - and dance was always one of them, but dancing - whether you do it well or badly (like me)it makes your heart full and your soul happy - I still dance many times when I am by myself or just have the furkids for an audience - I will always love the way it makes me feel - I wish for our little punkin - decades of dance!! So loved this picture - I so appreciate I can see the love in this lady's lense!!

    The picture of her little feet are just wonderful. I have seen a trailer for Black Swan, and it scared me away from the movie! You're a brave one!

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested?
