Wow! That week flew by for me - how was it for you? I can't believe it's time for my second . . .

This week's winner surely did not disappoint! Please join me in a great big round of applause for winner Nat over at "Just Nat",  who wrote the following line in her comment on my post about "Maximum Occupancy":

"I've been wondering why there are TV adverts for antiperspirant deodorants that offer "48 hour" protection....surely most people shower at least once a day, washing off said deo? Or are they encouraging bad hygiene habits? :)"

So SO funny! I absolutely LOVE to find people who share in the fine art of "Random Thinking Moments" and Nat's thought about the 48 hour antiperspirant CRACKS ME UP!!!     Whatever! I shower everyother day...thank God for 48 hour deo, or I'd have some nasty BO! When you've got 4 kids your lucky to get showered 3 times a week. ;)

Have you ever heard of a Smash Book? If you are a scrapbooker or art journal person, you may have. If you are not one of those types, you may not have. I am a scrapbooker . . . but had no idea what a Smash Book was. That is, until my dear friend Peggy brought hers to our Scrapbook Cellar gathering last month. She introduced us all to her cool little composition journal, and the conversation went something like this: PK :  Here is my Smash book. Me : Your what? PK : My Smash Book. Me : Like, smash, what? Any day now . . . Any day now . . . we will see you in all your glory, and the memory of past Springs will become our reality once again.  Any day now . . . I will walk passed you and be reminded of that scene in "Willie Wonka" . . . Gene Wilder as "Willie Wonka" image obtained from Google Image Search. Original site unknown. . . . when Gene Wilder drinks something (that I like to imagine is the sweetest, butteriest, most amazing thing) from a buttercup, and I'll wish just once I could do the same with you. Any day now . . . I will turn the corner of our block and find you waiting for me with your petals wide open, as if wanting to give me a Spring hug, and your scent will make me feel as if the heavens have opened up and sprinkled sweet smells over us all. Hot Off The Presses! A fanTAStic Weekend Treat!

Howdy Friends!!! Hope this post finds you all doing well! As part of my blog series "100 Things to Do with Grapes"  (STOP - wait a minute .... are you kidding me??? I don't have a blog series about grapes!!! Oh - but just imagine if I did!!!), I just had to share with you one of my very all time favorite summer treats . . .  Ok, are you even slightly interested? Hang in there with me, ok? Because this easy, summer "yum" is bound to be a favorite of YOURS!!!! That is . . . unless you have a peanut allergy. If you have a peanut allergy, I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST making this treat. (Come back Monday for another more appropriate post for you.)
